Our philosophy is summed up in the expression “ from Vine to Cup ”. At Laureatus we are our own winegrowers as well as winemakers, this allows us, among other things, to control the vines in their development, make decisions about their growth, plantations, etc. In short, having all the control , freedom and responsibility that implies not depending on external providers. We prioritize quality over quantity , and what is authentic and transparent over artifice, always “ from Vine to Cup ”. – Bodega Laureatus
The Vineyards
At Laureatus we make our wines exclusively with 100% Albariño variety grapes from our vineyards, so their daily care and pampering and absolute control of the entire process are the essence of our winery.
Our vineyards, some of which are almost 50 years old, have a South-Southwest orientation, which provides them with the ideal amount of sunshine throughout the day, thus favoring the optimal ripening of the grapes. The driving system is the traditional trellis with the grapes located 1.80 meters from the ground to prevent rotting and facilitate aeration. – Bodega Laureatus
