RITME (rhythm) is a wine produced from a selection of beautiful and exceptional old vineyards in the Priorat region. These vineyards look to express the rhythm (Ritme), soul and landscape of the area. The wine comes from vineyard from different parts of Priorat area: El Molar, Cornudella, Porrera, Poboleda, El Lloar, Bellmunt… always based on Llicorella soil from 300 to 750 meters of altitude.
With the philosophy of RITME CELLER this wine is based only on native, indigenous varieties, 45% Carinyena and 55% Garnatxa. Grapes are hand harvested and selected in the vineyards and again in the cellar. The wine is aged 10 months in French oak barrels. Ritme is a fruity, balanced, formidable wine that expresses the singularity and tough personality of the Priorat region.
TASTING NOTES. It has a very attractive bouquet, the oak evident but in synch with the fruit. The palate has a satisfying, succulent entry with fine acidity, good weight with a clean precise finish of dark cherries and blood orange. It has a lovely creamy texture, great harmony with violet and lily notes with a slight minty end. Fresh, nice and light wine with a good persistent.
